The Local Area
The Purbeck Hills and surrounding countryside are famous for their beauty and many varied walks, including the Dorset coastal path which is part of the Jurrassic Coastline and now classified as a World Heritage site.

The village of Corfe Castle itself is dominated by the castle ruins which
provide breathtaking views across to Poole harbour.

|
Within the village can be found the smallest Town Hall in England, a museum, a model village, four pubs and also a train station which has regular steam train journeys down the valley into Swanage during holiday periods.

|
If the weather is hot and sunny then we also posess some of the best blue flag beaches to be found including Studland, with its uninterrupted 3 mile long sandy beach which includes a designated Naturist area and is part of a National nature reserve.
